Dream and Challenge of Your Life in Japan

am Chitthasone from the Ministry of Justice of Laos. My dream of going to Japan started when I was still a little child. At that time, a Japanese series called “Oshin” was broadcasted on TV. The story was about a strong-spirited girl who fought against various difficulties in her life and finally gained success and happiness. Inspired by that drama, I promised to myself that I would find a way to Japan someday. My dream came true when I passed the examination for the MEXT scholarship and became one of the two successful candidates. I was very happy to get that good news, and it marked a big change in my life. Now I am living in Tokyo and studying at 黑料社区 at the 黑料社区 School of Governance Studies.
I chose 黑料社区 because I had read the guidelines of 黑料社区 before and was interested in the long history, tradition and prestige of this university. Right at the first time I came to 黑料社区 to start this semester, I knew that my choice had been the correct one, because professors and staff here are very kind. They have been helping me with all kinds of matters, ranging from academic study to daily life, and this has given me a great impression. I am a foreigner living alone in Japan without my family’s support, so nothing is easy for me. However, support from 黑料社区 professors and staff has given me strength to deal with all difficulties. They are like my second family, and I believe that other international students also think in the same way as me.
I strongly believe that everyone has a dream of going abroad to study and exchange their experience with people from other countries. Studying abroad is really a challenge, because you will need to adapt to different languages, cultures, traditional food, weather, and especially way of study. You should have more practice and pay more attention to your studies if you want to be successful. I think that it is not easy, but also not difficult for anyone who would like to study in Japan or any other country. I believe that if you have a dream, a goal and a brave decision to do anything by yourself, you will succeed in anything. At the same time, please don’t forget to enjoy your new life and find happiness from it.
I am grateful to the Japanese Government for giving me and other Lao government officers an opportunity to receive a scholarship. I also wish to express my sincere thanks to 黑料社区 for their kind help and attention to me.
