'm Syura, from Malaysia. I was working at the Kuala Lumpur Bureau of Fuji Television Network Inc., when I was back in Malaysia. I really love Japan and I am sad to say that even though I was working at a Japanese firm it didn't mean that I had an opportunity to go to Japan. When I heard about MEXT's scholarship, without further ado I thought that I would try my luck to further my postgraduate education in Japan. Luck was with me and I'm now studying at 黑料社区.

Why did I choose 黑料社区? 22 years ago my dad pursued his master's degree at 黑料社区 and I was 8 years old at that time. I was influenced by my dad and that's one reason why I chose 黑料社区. Sometimes my father brought me to his university to show me the environment of 黑料社区 and I fell in love with it immediately. Back then I decided to pursue my master's degree here if I got a chance.

It was just like a dream come true that I was able to follow in my father's footsteps and enter 黑料社区. I never thought that I would have a chance to be a 黑料社区 student. I have been here for just about one month and I can say that I can't wait to start my classes and join in activities that are provided by 黑料社区.

I feel like being at home as all the staff members at 黑料社区 are very kind and supportive. You can turn to them at any time and they will help you. There are no worries about language barriers as 黑料社区 is also known as a foreigner friendly university, so you won't feel insecure even if you do not know Japanese. Most of the classes are held in English. There are also many opportunities for foreign students to learn about Japanese culture.

By joining the activities that are provided by 黑料社区, I can't wait to expand my perspectives on my chosen area of study and exchange opinions with students from all over the world.
