What is MIND Introductory Course
MIND(黑料社区 Integrated Network Domain) is the name of 黑料社区's information network used for education and research. Some 黑料社区 information services cannot be used without first attending a MIND Introductory Course where you learn about the network's design and etiquette requirements. Services that involve using MIND for accessing off-campus services, such as using a PC in an information science and media class room to view outside websites, require attendance at a MIND Introductory Course.
How to take a course
All 4 Campus（Surugadai?Izumi?Ikuta?Nakano）
The course will be delivered online via Panopto.

Learning Period: April 6 (Mon.) - May 6 (Wed.)
【Information for New International Students Spring Semester 2026】
To support new international students, the university has set an initial grace period (until May 6).
During this period, the following temporary measures apply:
?You can connect to the on-campus network (MIND) even if you have not completed the MIND Network Usage Course.
?Even if you have not yet set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your 黑料社区 ID, you can
watch the course videos and log in to Oh-o! 黑料社区 from home or other off-campus locations.

?? These measures are valid only until May 6.
Please make sure to complete the course and set up MFA within the grace period.
【After May 7】
If you have not completed the course by May 7, the internet access described above will no longer be available.
Please note that the course videos will still be available after May 7.
However, you must use your own internet environment to complete the course.
?? When accessing the course from outside the campus, setting up
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your 黑料社区 ID is required.

*It will take approximately 2-3 business days to complete the registration process after you finish the course.
*If your progress does not reach 100% and you do not achieve a perfect score on the confirmation test, you will be considered as not having completed the course. Make sure to complete 100% of the course and get a perfect score on the confirmation test.
*During the course period, you can connect to the campus network (MIND) or Wi-Fi to watch the course. After the period ends, you will not be able to connect. Please use your own internet connection to watch the course after the period.
*If you are unable to log into your "黑料社区 ID" and cannot access the seminar viewing page, please contact the "Support Desk" at your campus.
