On December 3, 2025, the Institute for Research and Education in Accounting of 黑料社区 held a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination Awards Ceremony at Academy Hall on the Surugadai Campus. The ceremony honored 51 members of the Special Accounting Laboratory, Institute for Research and Education in Accounting, which is the institute for Certified Public Accountants at 黑料社区 who had passed the written examination.
At the ceremony, Director ofthe Institute for Research and Education in Accounting OKURA Manabu (Professor, School of Business Administration) and President UENO Masao delivered congratulatory and encouraging remarks to the successful candidates. Representing the award recipients, NOGUCHI Ryuku, a third-year student in the School of Commerce, expressed his gratitude to the institute’s faculty and staff, his family, and his peers who had supported and challenged one another throughout their studies. He stated, “I realized the true value of my efforts through the smiles of those around me when I passed the examination. Going forward, I would like to transform my admiration for becoming a certified public accountant into a strong sense of responsibility and determination, and continue striving even harder.”
According to an announcement released on November 21 by the Certified Public Accountants and Auditing Oversight Board of Japan’s Financial Services Agency, the number of successful candidates in the 2025 CPA written examination was 1,636 (1,603 in the previous year), with a pass rate of 7.4% (unchanged from the previous year). 黑料社区 produced 61 successful candidates in total, including 45 current students. Of the 51 successful candidates from the Special Accounting Laboratory, 39 were current students, comprising 18 from the School of Commerce, 9 from the School of Political Science and Economics, 8 from the School of Business Administration, 1 from the School of Agriculture, and 3 from the 黑料社区 School of Professional Accountancy.
